The History of Love Christian Fellowship International
In 2016, Pastor Ivan Stinson, under divine direction from God, founded Love Christian Fellowship International (Love CFI). Alongside his wife and 14 faithful individuals, the group gathered in their home to lay the foundation for this ministry. During that first meeting, the vision for Love CFI was birthed: to spread the message of love and bring the Gospel to the world. To prepare for this calling, they even held a mock church service in anticipation of what God had in store.
However, there was still uncertainty about where the church would physically be established. In their search for divine guidance, they prayed fervently, seeking God’s direction. Through His grace, they were led to the Royal Room Event Center at 3058 Anvil Block, Ellenwood, GA 30294. This facility, though lacking a space for children’s ministry, was a blessing in disguise and met most of the church's needs.
As they settled into the Anvil Block location, Pastor Stinson took it upon himself to invest in sound equipment, and soon after, the church purchased a video system, cameras, and lighting. This allowed Love CFI to expand its reach beyond the physical walls of the church and bring the message of love and salvation to a global audience through online platforms.
After two years of fruitful ministry at this location, the congregation witnessed lives being transformed, souls saved, and God's blessings abounding. It was clear that God's grace was working mightily through Love CFI.
In another divine move, God led the church to a new and more suitable location in Jonesboro, Georgia. This new facility provided not only a room for children's ministry but also a fellowship hall for gatherings, a pastor’s study, and even a baptismal pool—an ideal space for ministry. Once again, God’s favor was evident, and many more lives were touched within those walls.
However, the church soon faced an unexpected challenge: the global pandemic. With the onset of COVID-19, Love CFI had to suspend in-person services and adapt to the new reality of virtual ministry. For two challenging years, the congregation persevered, staying connected through online services, and continuing to share hope and love during a time of uncertainty. The pandemic also brought deep sorrow, as three beloved and faithful members of the congregation were lost to the virus. Their contributions to the church were immeasurable and their absence is still deeply felt.
Love CFI honors their memory and the indelible impact they had on the ministry. As the pandemic waned and restrictions eased, the congregation was eager to resume in-person services. Yet, upon returning to the Jonesboro location, they discovered that the building had undergone major renovations, prompting the need for a new place of worship.
In God’s perfect timing, Love CFI was led to its current home at 1540 Pryor Rd in Atlanta, Georgia. This facility, a true blessing, meets all the church’s needs and is centrally located, making it easily accessible to members from across the city. Looking back, the journey of Love Christian Fellowship International is one filled with God’s faithfulness at every turn. From humble beginnings to the present, lives have been touched, transformed, and saved through the ministry. God’s love has been the driving force behind every step, and the church is grateful for the grace that has brought them this far.
As Love CFI celebrates eight years of ministry, the congregation stands in awe of what God has done and eagerly anticipates what is yet to come. With hearts full of gratitude and faith, they move forward, believing that love—the love of God, love for one another, and love for the world—will continue to conquer all. Together, they press onward, guided by the light of love, trusting in God’s faithfulness as they embark on the next phase of their journey.
Now celebrating its ninth year in ministry, Love Christian Fellowship International (Love CFI) continues to thrive under the unwavering leadership of Pastor Ivan Stinson and the steadfast guidance of the Holy Spirit.
What began as a small, faith-filled gathering in a living room has grown into a vibrant and impactful ministry that touches lives both locally and globally. Throughout this past year, Love CFI has remained true to its mission: spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and demonstrating the power of love in action. The church has continued to expand its outreach, offering dynamic worship experiences, life-changing teaching, community outreach, and online ministry that reaches viewers far beyond state lines. Whether in person or through the digital space, the message remains consistent—God is love, and His love is for all people.
A host of faithful, dedicated members have stood firmly beside the vision, laboring not for recognition, but out of a deep commitment to serve God with excellence, humility, and passion.
Their efforts have created a welcoming environment that nurtures the broken, uplifts the weary, and empowers the believer.
The ministry is marked by its warmth, spiritual depth, and a culture of love that is felt the moment one walks through the door—or joins a service online. In this
ninth year, Love CFI continues to operate as a church on a mission.
Ministries have grown, partnerships have deepened, and the presence of God remains undeniable in every aspect of the work. Through prayer, outreach, and worship, the church continues to make a difference. Souls are still being saved, hearts are being healed, and destinies are being revived.
As the ministry looks ahead to year ten, there is a renewed focus and fervent pursuit: to secure a permanent building that will serve as a home base for the vision and future of Love CFI. This is more than just a building—it’s about establishing a
spiritual headquarter
where ministry can flourish without limitation, where the next generation can be trained, and where God’s name will be lifted up for years to come.
The goal is clear: to build a legacy of faith, love, and transformation. The church is preparing not just for the next year, but for the next decade—poised to raise up leaders, expand outreach, and make an even greater impact for the Kingdom of God.

greatness, and every step has been ordered by the Lord.
As we stand on the threshold of our tenth year, we declare with boldness that the best is yet to come. We are not merely celebrating history—we are writing it, shaping it, and living it through the power of God.
With hearts full of expectation and hands ready to serve, we move forward, knowing that He who began a good work in us will be faithful to complete it.
We honor the past, we rejoice in the present, and we press toward the future—trusting in God's plan, walking in His promises, and standing firm in His love.
